FAQ

Nervous about getting your photo taken?

That's where I come in. Make sure you're dressed and your tummy is full (pancake breakfast with all the maple syrup please!) and I'll take care of the rest. That's why you're hiring me. I can pose and direct you (tell you exactly what to do) to get the best images of yourself. You did the right thing by asking me to take your photo.  I've been getting my photo taken and taking others photos for years. You are in great hands.

How many pictures will I receive?

All of the best from our time together.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Not required, but you'd be silly not to. I work with professional photo labs. The image quality being the best and that will last for generations to come.  Archival.  Giclée Art Prints.  Yes, those fancy words.  I know the difference between a printing company that understands colours and inks vs. a place that sells carrots and diapers who also happens to print photos. The proof is in the print.

What do I wear?

It's best to wear what you feel good in. Avoid logos, all blacks and stripes where possible for the best images. A style guide will be provided upon booking that will put your mind at ease and get you excited to go looking through your closet.

How long will we spend together?

It really depends on what we hope to accomplish from the session you've chosen. We'll discuss these details prior to the photoshoot, during your styling and preparation consultation.

What kind of gear do you use?

If that's important to you then we might not be a good fit. I strive to take images that will last a lifetime no matter the type of camera or lens. I work with the best professional photo lab delivering archival quality prints and stunning ready mounted photographs, frames and albums.
